Blue Works Industrial Grade Contact Cleaner spray is an electric contact cleaner that removes grease, grime, dirt, solder flux residue, and condensation from electronics and electrical equipment such as printed circuit boards, tape heads, and electric motors, among others. The cleaner is suitable for use on most metals including steel, galvanized steel, copper, brass, magnesium, nickel, tin plate, titanium, and zinc, and it is safe to use on most plastics and rubber. It contains the solvent n-Hexane and isopropyl alcohol to clean and evaporate without leaving residues, which may damage electronics and electrical equipment. This contact cleaner is free of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs). It comes in an 11 oz. aerosol can that uses the propellant diflouroethane for compliance with government volatile organic compound (VOC) regulations to evenly apply the cleaning ingredients to any surface. This contact cleaner has a dielectric strength of 25,000 volts for non-conductive materials. It complies with VOC regulations in 50 states, and it is NSF International-listed as a category code K2 solvent cleaner for cleaning electronic instruments and devices without water and other aqueous solutions.
