Starborn Blue Kyanite Crystal – One Large Piece

Blue Kyanite is a member of the aluminum silicate mineral family. Color ranges from light blue grey to dark indigo. Kyanite usually forms as elongated crystalline blades. Exceptionality clear pieces of blue Kyanite have been cut for use as gemstones.

Named in 1789 by A. G. Werner from the Greek word Kyanos meaning blue. The French spelling, Cyanite, was commonly used by mineralogists through much of the 19th and early 20th centuries.

These large Blue Kyanite crystals come from Brazil, they have been hand selected from our stock of fine quality gems. Those looking for gemstones with metaphysical properties will love kyanite for its special abilities.

Each Blue Kyanite Crystal is natural and unaltered with a unique shape that will differ slightly from the image, though the general size and color will be similar to the display images, these crystals are about 3 – 4 inches long.
