This stunning collection of spirited original compositions seamlessly blend with flamenco and classical pieces by Bach, Segraris and Tarrega The guitar and cello magnificently complement one another. Both musicians are seasoned improvisors,composers and technically proficient players. Holding true to the sprit of of the “classics”, they play with passion and spontaneity that keeps the old music fresh and makes the new music sound timeless. This CD is wonderfully fun for active, detailed listening or pleasant to have on as background music. A true gem. Freudmann and Herschler are both song-writers and performers with impressive solo careers.
